In the Old Testament of the Bible it is clearly stated that children were to be regarded as blessings from God to be treasured, and that the ability to have children was God’s way of bestowing favour upon the family. Hence, it is recorded in the Old Testament that barren women were looked upon with much contempt as being cursed by God, as well as their hapless husbands. And hence, having a child during those times was a symbol of honour and spiritual maturity, that God had delighted in that particular couple.
Each child bears with him the message that God is not yet discouraged with man.

前线追踪：扩大禁烟区
1。我国将在今年十月过后增加哪些禁烟区？
我国将会在咖啡店，小贩中心，夜总会，巴士站和公共厕所增加禁烟区。
2。为什么要扩大禁烟区？
这是因为在二手吸烟者当中，有三十八仙得爱症，八十二八仙中风。政府也要减少吸烟者的数目，创造一个更健康的新家坡。
3。你认为我国应该/有必要扩大禁烟区吗？
我认为我国应该扩大禁烟区。我不抽烟，但常常遇到吸烟者，呼吸了他们抽出的二手烟。这是，对我来说，不健康，也是一种自私的行为。所以，我非常不赞成人们吸烟，也对吸烟者有不良的印象。
4。江禁烟区扩大到以下所提到的场地，你认为合理吗？
我认为这是非常合理的。要禁烟的地方通常有人山人海，所以，为了保护人们的健康，在这些地方禁烟，是有道理的。
5。试谈谈扩大禁烟区的影响。
我们拿小贩中心来说。有些顾客表示不满意，因为他们是其中的吸烟者。他们认为扩大了禁烟区使他们无法随意吸烟，造成不方便。但有些不吸烟的顾客赞成把禁烟区扩大。小贩老板也表示苦说吸烟者的自私心。总而言之，扩大了禁烟区带来了不少的居名的同意和不同意。
